Site Manager Lancashire (Building & Construction) upto £40,000 per annum

Due to project/client wins they are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Construction Manager to join their thriving team. A nationwide construction company providing Residential & Commercial new Builds contracts ranging from £500,00 to £600 million.
Project
They are due to commence a student residential project.
Job Overview
o Liaising with and supervising the work of the other professionals involved in the project
o Making sure the aims of the project are met o Ensuring that quality standards are adhered to
o Keeping track of progress and ensuring that the project is on time and on budget
o Maintaining records of expenditure, accounting, costing and billing
Job Description
o Manage the work at the project site and coordinate between subcontractors to ensure execution of all project phases on time.
o Assist in preparing construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress against established schedules o Assist in preparing the required progress reports
o Manage the activities of subcontractors.
o Requisition for supplies of materials to complete works.
o Identify manpower and equipment needs required for completion of works.
o Develop and monitor the implementation of quality control programs.
o Review subcontractors and suppliers invoices and submit to the Project Manager for approval
o On-going evaluation of construction methods and continuous improvement implementation
o Review and monitor the project safety plans and security measures.
o Participate in the study of any modification suggested by the contractors and subcontractors to facilitate and expedite work, getting the approval where required
o Assist in preparing all progress reports related to the project execution
o Manage the work at the project site and coordinate between subcontractors to ensure execution of all project phases on time.
o Assist in preparing construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress against established schedules Skills & Experience
o Experience in another position such as site engineer or construction manager.
o Experience within residential build or timber frame
o 3 – 5 years (or more) experience Experience of managing diverse teams in line with complex strategic and financial targets
o Advanced proficiency in current technology across construction management and reporting
o Fluency in English is essential
